Wilfried Zaha Transfer Odds: Arsenal lead the betting to sign Crystal Palace winger

Wilfried Zaha is odds-on to swap Crystal Palace for Arsenal this summer, according to the latest prices.

888Sport go 7/10 (1.70) that the 26-year-old forward, who had the best scoring season of his Premier League career last term, makes the move before September 3 2019.

While the Premier League transfer window closes before the first game of the new season on August 9, there is still the possibility of a move elsewhere, so this is the date on which the bookmaker will settle wagers regarding Zaha's future.

Zaha's brother recently claimed a transfer to Arsenal would fulfil "a childhood dream" for the Ivory Coast international.

The Gunners have reportedly made a £40 million bid for his services, which falls some way short of his current club's valuation.

Those who believe Zaha - who signed a new five-year contract last summer - will remain at Palace can get 17/20 (1.85) on that outcome. So, while Arsenal are marginal favourites for his signature over the coming weeks, the bookmakers certainly aren't ruling out a stay at Selhurst Park.

Tottenham are also in the running at 5/2 (3.50) according to 888Sport. Spurs were linked with an approach last summer, but no move ever materialised. Crucially, Mauricio Pochettino's side could offer Champions League football to any new arrivals, unlike their rivals who currently lead the betting.

Zaha will certainly be keen to prove he belongs at the top level after an ill-fated move to Manchester United earlier in his career.

United signed the then 21-year-old for an initial fee of £10 million in January 2013 before loaning him back to Palace for the remainder of the season, but the eventual switch to Old Trafford didn't go to plan.

Zaha made just two Premier League appearances for the Red Devils and returned to south London on loan a year later before making the move permanent move in February 2015.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's are priced at 11/1 (12.0) to re-sign the Ivory Coast international where he would join former teammate Aaron Wan-Bissaka who recently arrived for £50 million. The defender will wear 29, the same squad number assigned to Zaha during his time in Manchester.

Borussia Dortmund (10/1) and Bayern Munich (30/1) are also quoted as possible destinations before the European transfer window shuts.
