Nicklas Bendtner is a name that has been rendered into semi-obscurity following his exit from Arsenal, though the forward is still a key member of the Denmark national team.
Following his exit from the Emirates, he has endured a rather curious career trajectory, from spells at the likes of Nottingham Forest, Juventus and Wolfsburg, before finally settling on Norwegian side Rosenborg.
The former Arsenal forward has recently landed himself into newspaper headlines, however, and Goal takes a look at his current earnings, social media stats, and more.

The Denmark international had somewhat of a glittering time at Arsenal but following his departure from the Emirates, his long and winding career has spanned three major European leagues where he hasn't quite managed to experience a life quite like the one he had at in North London.

Across his nine years with Arsenal, he was earning a reported £50,000 a week but has started to see his lucrative lifestyle slowly diminish over the past few years.
After first having to halve his wages during his brief stint at Nottingham Forest in 2016-17, Bendtner has been earning the 'starvation wages' of only £450,000 a year – amounting to roughly £8,500 a week. To mere mortals and peasants, it is still a mind-blowing amount of money, but compared to other footballers – and even his past wages – it's a salary that pales in comparison.
How much does Bendtner earn per minute/hour/day?
Bendtner takes home an annual salary of £450,000 a year, which amounts to around £37,500 a month.

Why is Bendtner called 'Lord Bendtner'?

Bendtner has remained to be a cult icon for Arsenal fans, who refer to the Dane as 'Lord Bendtner'. It initially stemmed from his former partner and mother of his son being a Danish Baroness, but the nickname started off as a social media phenomenon that he himself has taken in stride.
In a since deleted Instagram post, he had even uploaded a poster of him holding the Ballon d'Or and mockingly running as a candidate for Prime Minister in the June 2015 Danish Election.
The former Arsenal player has, in the past, declared himself the greatest in his position of a striker and even compared himself to Thierry Henry, which went in line with his 'Lord Bendtner' persona – an over-confident player who was regarded himself just a bit too highly.
Other antics he was involved in such as leaving a London night club with his jeans almost falling off, crashing an automobile and then peeling off his clothes to make sure that he was fine, and vandalising a car when on loan at Sunderland have all contributed to his 'Lord' gimmick.
How many social media followers does Bendtner have?
Bendtner has around 457,000 followers on Instagram at the time of writing, and posts plenty of content from his time with Rosenborg. He is also a keen family man, and shares frequent posts of himself, his son and partner.
He clearly still has a small legion of Arsenal fans following him on social media, with every other post that he shares flooded with repeated comments of 'Lord' from his followers.

The former Arsenal striker was sentenced to 50 days of jail time in Denmark for assaulting a taxi driver in September 2018, but the player has appealed and has been released until a hearing at a later date at a higher court.
The initial incident took place earlier in the year, with City Court of Copenhagen having been shown CCTV material that showed Bendtner striking the driver of his taxi in the face.
Bendtner had admitted that he hit the driver but stated that he only did so in self-defence, saying that the driver threw a bottle or can at him and his partner when they left without paying the fare.
He has since apologised to the media for the incident, stating: "As you've been able to read in the press for the past couple of days, I was involved in an extremely unfortunate and uncomfortable incident around 2am on Sunday.
"I could not in my wildest fantasies imagine that it would develop as it did, and, of course, I'm extremely sad that the outcome became as unfortunate as it did."
