WATCH: "No way, I'm scared of nature" - Marcos Senna in the Take it on Challenge

As a young man, Marcos Senna left it all behind to embark on a Spanish adventure, fleeing Brazil for the bright lights of La Liga.

His courage to start a new chapter abroad was rewarded not only with a decade at the top level in Europe, but also a European Championships crown with his adopted nation.

But the legendary midfielder draws the line at venturing out into some parts unknown, rejecting the offer of living off the land “because I’m scared of nature.”

In a light-hearted chat with official La Liga sponsor, Clear Men, he revealed that his fears don’t end there.

“I’m scared of heights,” he responded to the offer of climbing Mount Everest, before also rejecting the idea of both swimming with sharks, a trip to the North Pole and swimming the English Channel.

So, how about a vow of silence? “No, because I’m very talkative and couldn’t cope with a month of no talking.”
