Transfer Betting: Bale and Wan-Bissaka odds-on to join Manchester United this summer

Manchester United could be set for a busy summer in the transfer market, according to the latest odds from 888Sport.

Out-of-favour Gareth Bale is just 3/4 (1.75) to sign at Old Trafford club before the window closes after a disappointing season at Real Madrid saw him start just 21 La Liga games and score only eight times.

The Welshman is expected to be amongst a summer clear-out for Real, although he is still under contract until 2022 and has previously threatened to see that out by playing golf in the Spanish capital.

Punters who think Bale will stay true to his word and stay at Los Blancos, at least for this summer, can back him at 23/20 (2.15).

Crucially, 888Sport's rules state "Settlement of Transfer bets will also take into account players signed by the club on loan deals." That's an important factor for punters to consider before getting involved.

A breakout season saw the 21-year-old make 35 Premier League starts and earn two England under-21 international caps, firmly putting him on the radar for a Red Devils side that conceded 54 league goals.
