Tottenham vs Liverpool Bet Builder: 8/1 selection for the Champions League Final

One of the more popular recent innovations when it comes to football betting has been the emergence of Bet Builders.

These tools allow punters to combine multiple selections from one game into a single bet, essentially creating an accumulator where each element relates to the match in question.

Ahead of Tottenham and Liverpool squaring off in the Champions League final in Madrid this weekend, we've used 888Sport's Bet Builder to come up with an 8/1 (9.0) shot for the all-English affair.

With the possibility of extra time, it’s worth noting that each of these elements relate to normal time only.

Bet: Liverpool to win, Both Teams to Score, Liverpool most corners and Over 3.5 total cards at 8/1 (9.0) with 888Sport.

Liverpool are 10/11 (1.91) favourites to win the game in 90 minutes and given their exceptional performance level this season, Jurgen Klopp's men look solid market principles.

The Reds finished 26 points above Spurs in the Premier League campaign, winning both head-to-head meetings between the pair, and they should feel confident of completing a hat-trick of victories over the Londoners.

Each of those victories came by a 2-1 score line and both teams to score also looks likely to land when the clubs meet once more. This selection has paid out in seven of the last eight matches in all competitions and in each of the last eight Champions League finals too.

The stats suggest that Liverpool should also shade the corner count in the Spanish capital. During the Premier League campaign, Klopp's side averaged 6.55 per game while only facing 3.32. Conversely, Spurs ranked 10th in corners taken with 5.11 per match and conceded an average of 4.92 during the 2018-19 top-flight campaign.

While neither league meeting between these teams saw a flurry of bookings, Saturday's referee Damir Skomina has been a busy man in his recent UEFA assignments.

You have to go back 12 European matches since Skomina handed out fewer than four cards. The Slovenian official's seven games in the Champions and Europa League this season have seen a total of 35 bookings. While the 42-year-old hasn't sent anyone off in that time his record suggests there could be several names in the notebook on Saturday evening.
