Former Socceroo defenders Jade North and Robbie Cornthwaite have been made surplus to requirements by their A-League clubs.
The Covert Agent can reveal Brisbane Roar's North and Western Sydney's Cornthwaite are among 10 A-League players that will be allowed to leave if they find another option.
North, who has been capped 41 times for Australia, turned 36 on Sunday with injuries restricting him to only five appearances for the Roar this campaign.
Cornthwaite has started the last two Wanderers matches under Josep Gombau, but it's understood the Spanish coach is keen to explore other options.
Getty ImagesTalented Newcastle Jets midfielder Devante Clut has been told he can leave the club having only made four appearances for 14 minutes under Ernie Merrick.
Central Coast Mariners are also keen for a clean-out with 36-year-old full-back Josh Rose, striker Josh Bingham and utility Harry Ascroft informed their time is up.
Four players are unwanted at Wellington Phoenix including Italian defender Marco Rossi, Hamish Watson, Ryan Lowry and Ali Abbas.
