Sunderland intensify effort to sign Cote d'Ivoire Max Gradel

Newly promoted English Premier League side, Sunderland have intensified their pursuit of the highly-rated Ivorian striker, Max Gradel according to Daily Mail.

Though injuries limited the playing time of Gradel last season with Bournemouth, he was able to put up a decent display in his 13 appearances for Eddie Howe’s men as they finished in the 9th spot on the English Premier League log.

The striker indicated in April that he wanted to part with the Cherries for first-team football action after he joined them from the French side, St Etienne in 2015.

The 29-year-old is desperate to resuscitate his career after enduring a torrid time at Dean Court.
