In total there were eight bookings and Juan Cuadrado saw red for picking up two cautions in just 12 minutes after coming on as a substitute. Ronaldo was also able to overhaul Lionel Messi’s tally of 11 goals in the current campaign by netting a second strike to all but seal his side’s victory.
