The Red Devils have eased through qualifying so far and our tipster is expecting that run to continue with a low-scoring victory over Clarke's side

Belgium can make it six wins out of six in Euro 2020 qualifying when they travel to Scotland on Monday night.

The Red Devils eased past San Marino 4-0 last week and are expected to make short work of Steve Clarke’s men, who have lost their last two qualifying games but are assured of a play-off spot thanks to their Nations League success.

Latest Odds

Indeed, Belgium are offered at just 1/3 (1.33) by 888Sport to win their 10th consecutive European Championship qualifier by coming out on top at Hampden Park.

Scotland lost to Russia on this ground just three days ago and are out at 17/2 (9.50) to reignite their hopes of automatic qualification with a win, whilst the draw is 22/5 (5.40).

Team News

Clarke could make some changes to the starting XI that was beaten last week. Kenny McLean, Matt Phillips and Ryan Christie all came off the bench and will hope to start this time. Ryan Jack is injured.

Belgium are also set to rotate, with Romelu Lukaku fighting to start over Michy Batshuayi, who scored twice against San Marino. Dries Mertens and Nacer Chadli could also feature from the first whistle.

Preview

Although top of Group I, Roberto Martinez’s side have been efficient rather than ruthless with 15 goals in five matches – a far cry from the 43 they scored in 2018 World Cup qualification.

There is little to suggest that Scotland will be able to stop Belgium from taking all three points in this one, but Clarke’s men have not conceded more than twice in any of their last 10 competitive home matches.

Belgium won the reverse fixture 3-0 and without the talismanic Eden Hazard available due to injury, a low-scoring affair could be on the cards.

Tips and Predictions

Under 2.5 match goals could be a popular selection at 57/50 (2.14) but a shrewder option appears to be Belgium winning a game that features under 3.5 goals at Evens (2.0).

To back this, simply add ‘Belgium’ in the full-time market and ‘Under 3.5’ in the total goals market. This will add both to your betslip and you can place your bet as a double from there.
