The Blues beat Reading 4-3 in a thrilling encounter on Sunday and Frank Lampard's men will be looking to turn in another impressive display when they face the Austrian champions.
Salzburg began their title defence with a comfortable 2-0 win against Rapid Vienna on Friday.
