Queens Park Rangers vs Leeds United Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

Leeds United can move back to the top of the Championship on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Queens Park Rangers.

The Whites, along with West Brom, looked to be opening up a gap on the rest of the Championship after a run of seven wins, but have stuttered in recent weeks with just one victory from their last six games.

QPR vs Leeds United Latest Odds

Victory for the visitors would put them two points clear of West Brom, who play on Monday, and bet365 make Leeds 3/4 (1.75) favourites to do just that.

QPR have won just three of their last 15 Championship fixtures and they are 7/2 (4.50) to get revenge for their defeat at Elland Road earlier in the season by coming out on top here.

None of the last six meetings between these sides have ended in a draw and a first stalemate in almost three years is offered at 29/10 (3.90).

QPR vs Leeds United Team News

Yoann Barbet is the only absentee for Mark Warburton, who must decide whether to continue playing the in-form Nahki Wells or revert to Jordan Hugill. Jack Clarke could make his QPR debut against his former club after joining on loan from Tottenham,

Pablo Hernandez returned from injury to come off the bench in Leeds’ 2-0 loss to Sheffield Wednesday last weekend and could start here. Patrick Bamford will lead the line after Eddie Nketiah’s loan spell was cut short by Arsenal.

QPR vs Leeds United Preview

Only three teams have picked up fewer points in the last 15 games than QPR’s 13, and Warburton’s men would certainly be in a relegation battle if they had not picked up seven wins from their first 12 games.

However, with Leeds also woefully out of form, turning to the goals markets looks the best way to find value at Loftus Road on Saturday.

QPR’s games have seen an incredible 96 strikes – the most of any team in the league – whilst Leeds’ last six matches have featured 24 goals.

QPR vs Leeds United Tips and Predictions

Both teams to score is priced at just 4/7 (1.57) but combining that with over 2.5 goals pays out at 10/11 (1.91) with bet365 and looks good value for what is set to be an entertaining affair on Saturday afternoon.
