Without a win and boasting just a solitary goal scored from their opening two matches, Argentina's future in the Copa America is hanging by a thread.
The good news for Lionel Messi and his team is that their final match in Group B is against invited side Qatar - the lowest ranked team in the competition, and a win for the Albiceleste would see them through to the knockout stages.
Qatar meanwhile have surprised many with two impressive showings so far, coming from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Paraguay and only conceding late on to lose 1-0 against Colombia. The debutants in the Copa America are priced at 12/1 (13.00) with the draw at 9/2 (5.50).
Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni made four changes for the game against Paraguay with the likes of Angel Di Maria and Sergio Aguero dropped to the bench. Scaloni is a manager that often shuffles his pack so we should expect more changes for Sunday night's crucial clash.
Qatar have fielded the same starting team in both of their two matches, and Spanish manager Felix Sanchez is unlikely to tweak what has so far been an effective lineup.
On paper this is a serious mis-match in terms of quality and skill, yet in practice the gulf between the two sides may not be as gaping as perceived.
Qatar arrived to take part in their first ever Copa America as Asian champions having beaten Japan in the final of the Asian Cup in February. Over the last 18 months they have enjoyed friendly wins over the likes of Switzerland and Ecuador, victories that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago.
This is not to say that they will record a historic success over the two-time World Cup winner, but the underdogs are capable of keeping the score line respectable against an Argentina side that has so far looked average at very best.
Tips and predictions
Qatar are offered at 21/20 (2.05) to score a goal and this could be of interest given that Argentina have conceded in both of their matches and looked defensively vulnerable.
