Premier League Betting: Manchester City 5/4 to claim at least 94 points next season

The Premier League could be set for another thrilling season with both the title race and the fight to avoid relegation likely to enthral fans once again.

Manchester City retained their crown with 98 points last season, pipping Liverpool by a single point, whilst Cardiff’s return to the Championship was not confirmed until the penultimate week of the campaign.

That makes it 198 points that City have accrued over the last two terms and they will certainly be looking to collect another impressive total next season, with bet365 offering 5/4 (2.25) that they amass over 93.

Another year of dominance does seem likely, with reinforcements so far coming in the form of £63 million (€70m) Rodri, although it is Evens (2.0) that they secure under 91 points. Between 91 and 93 inclusive is a 6/1 (7.0) shot.

Liverpool pushed the eventual champions all the way last term and are 13/5 (3.60) to go one better this time around, with Jurgen Klopp’s men 5/4 (2.25) to record over 88 points again.

It is Even money (2.0) that the Reds manage under 86 points, as they have done in all but two of their Premier League campaigns, with a total of 86-88 inclusive priced at 6/1 (7.0) with bet365.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United could be set to fight it out for the final Champions League place, with Tottenham just 1/2 (1.50) to finish in the top four.

bet365 offer the same odds on both the Blues and the Red Devils amount of points. Over 72 clocks in at 11/8 (2.37) whilst under 70 is priced at Evens (2.0), and between 70 to 72 a 5/1 (6.0) offering.

The Gunners could perhaps offer some value in this market, with the 11/8 (2.37) on them securing over 69 points for the ninth time in 10 seasons potentially set to prove a popular wager.

At the other end of the table, newly promoted Sheffield United are 11/10 (2.10) to amass under just 33 points or 13/8 (2.63) for over 35. The online bookmaker expects Norwich to fare only marginally better in their return to the top flight, with under 35 points an 11/10 (2.10) shot.

It is worth noting that multiple selections can be added into an accumulator, provided they are different teams.
