Odey, Udoh top Nigeria squad for CHAN qualifier

MFM’s Stephen Odey and Enyimba’s Mfon Udoh lead Nigeria squad for August’s African Nations Championship qualifier against Togo or Benin Republic.

After a failed expedition in Rwanda 2016, the Super Eagles would be hoping to battle for the top prize in the next edition billed for Kenya.

But they must first negotiate their way past either of the west African teams – to push for a ticket in the competition.

Returning to the national team is former Nigeria U17 goalkeeper, Dele Ajiboye who is expected to give Ikechukwu Ezenwa a tough fight for a starter’s shirt.

Also making the cut are Kano Pillars’ Jamiu Alimi and MFM’s Sikiru Olatunbosun.
