The 44-year-old spent three seasons in the French capital during his playing days, making close to 100 appearances for the club.
He also captained PSG, with his leadership qualities spotted during a lengthy spell at Espanyol.
Pochettino is best known for his time spent in Catalonia, with two productive stints in La Liga taking in 10 campaigns.
The former international defender is, however, prepared to admit that he still follows events at Parc des Princes closely and that he considers PSG to be his team.
Pochettino told SFR Sport: "I try to watch all I can. And of course, PSG.
"My team is PSG - I love PSG. I spent nearly three years there.
"I spent some time, six months, with Bordeaux too but I was captain at PSG and that will always be special for me."
Pochettino has previously expressed a desire to return to France at some stage during his coaching career.
He told radio station RMC in April 2016: “I've always said that I would be pleased to join a great club like PSG.
"Come to Paris? I hope so. It is true that it would please me. It's part of my dreams.”
Spurs will be hoping that Pochettino does not go chasing that dream any time soon, with Champions League football returned to White Hart Lane during his tenure and the foundations put in place for future Premier League title bids.
