Manchester United vs Brighton Betting Tips: Latest odds, teams news, preview and predictions

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be looking to ease the pressure on his future when Manchester United host Brighton on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils are 10th in the Premier League with just three wins from their first 11 games but will be in good spirits after easing past Partizan Belgrade 3-0 on Thursday evening.

Brighton will provide stern opposition following a run of three wins in their last four matches, although they have only won six of their 43 Premier League away matches since earning promotion in 2017.

Manchester United vs Brighton Latest Odds

Despite their poor recent form in the top-flight, Manchester United are offered at 3/5 (1.60) with bet365 to claim a much-needed victory on Sunday.

The Seagulls have lost on their two trips to Old Trafford since gaining top-flight promotion and are 11/2 (6.50) to arrest that run in style with victory, whilst the draw is 11/4 (3.75).

Manchester United vs Brighton Team News

Solskjaer’s woes got even greater on Thursday with Scott McTominay and Harry Maguire both picking up minor injuries that could limit their participation here. Ashley Young is suspended whilst Axel Tuanzebe, Phil Jones, Eric Bailly, Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic and Diogo Dalot are all injured.

Bernardo, Jose Izquierdo and Adam Webster are all unavailable, but there could be a starting spot for Leandro Trossard after he impressed off the bench in Brighton’s 2-0 win over Norwich last weekend.

Manchester United vs Brighton Preview

The Red Devils are in desperate need of victory and, although wins have not been easy to come by this season, just a look at Brighton’s away record will perhaps ease their worries.

Indeed, Graham Potter’s men have managed just four goals outside the Amex Stadium this season - and three of those came at still-winless Watford on the opening day of the campaign.

United’s goalscoring prowess is hardly much more inspiring, with just four league goals to their name at Old Trafford since their 4-0 drubbing of Chelsea in their first match.

Manchester United vs Brighton Tips and Predictions

Solskjaer’s men will be hopeful of victory but the best value for this fixture comes in the form of under 2.5 goals at 4/5 (1.80) with bet365.
