Di Maria's wife warns Lucas over Man Utd move


Lucas Moura's move to Manchester United has been placed in doubt after an intervention by the wife of PSG team-mate Angel Di Maria, according to  The Sun .

Brazil international Lucas is yet to start for Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 this season and is keen on a move to Old Trafford in a bid to prove himself ahead of the World Cup.

But Di Maria's wife, Jorgelina Cardoso, has warned Lucas's partner, Larissa Saad, about the lifestyle in Manchester, and she is now having second thoughts about leaving Paris for England.


Arsenal want Martial in Alexis deal

Arsenal want Anthony Martial included in any deal that would take Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United, according to the Daily Star.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger wants a replacement before he allows Alexis to leave, and he is hopeful Martial can be that player.

United are reluctant to let Martial go, however, though they would be willing to include Chris Smalling in the deal should Arsenal be keen on the centre-back.

Manchester United are ready to give David de Gea a massive raise in an attempt to fend off interest from Real Madrid, according to The Sun

Madrid are still circling for the 27-year-old and with De Gea's contract set to expire in 2019, the Red Devils want to offer a new deal to lock down their prized goalkeeper. 

Man Utd reportedly plan to up De Gea's £210,000-a-week wages to £300,000-a-week, making him the club's joint highest-paid player along with Paul Pogba.

Man Utd prospect signs first professional deal

Manchester United have confirmed that Arnau Puigmal has signed his first professional contract with the club.

The 16-year-old Spaniard joined the club from Espanyol in 2017 and becomes the second academy star to commit their future to the Red Devils, with Aliou Traore having also signed this week.

Academy chief Nicky Butt told the club's official website : "Arnau has impressed us all since he came to the club this season. He has a great attitude to learn and he has quickly picked up English, which will be a great help to him going forward. It is clear to see that he has all the attributes to develop into a top player and have a fine future ahead of him."


Spurs won't give up on Malcom

Tottenham have not given up hope of beating Arsenal and Manchester United to the signing of Bordeaux sensation Malcom, reports UOL Esporte .

Arsenal have held talks with Malcom’s representatives this week over a potential January deal as Arsene Wenger searches for a replacement for Manchester City target Alexis Sanchez.
