The Swede makes his first start since April and will take the armband for the quarter-final visit to Championship high-flyers Bristol City

Manchester United have handed Zlatan Ibrahimovic his first start of the season in Wednesday's Carabao Cup quarter-final against Bristol City, and the Swede will also wear the captain's armband.

Ibrahimovic has not started a game since damaging knee ligaments in the Europa League quarter-final clash with Anderlecht in April, but after five substitute appearances this term he finally gets a start for the trip to Ashton Gate.

Jose Mourinho makes a total of 10 changes to the side which beat West Brom in the Premier League on Sunday, with only Marcus Rashford remaining from that XI.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is back in the first-team picture but will have to make do with a place on the bench as United start with Rashford, Ibrahimovic and Anthony Martial all in attack.
