Hudson-Odoi linked with loan move

Chelsea will let Callum Hudson-Odoi leave on loan in January if they are successful in signing Christian Pulisic, reports the Mail on Sunday.

The 18-year-old has not featured in the Premier League this season, and will be sent out to gain experience as long as the Blues secure cover on the wing.

Juventus line up Gomes move

Juventus plan to hijack Everton's plans of signing Andre Gomes on a permenant deal, accoring to the Sun on Sunday.

The Portuguese star is currently on loan at Goodison Park, and has impressed on his first spell in the Premier League.

Gomes was linked with Juve last summer when reports suggested Barca would offer him in a swap deal for Miralem Pjanic.

Emery ponders January signing after Bellerin injury

Unai Emery admitted Arsenal have limited scope to address their defensive headaches in January after Hector Bellerin joined a long injury list during the loss to Southampton.

Right-back Bellerin could be unavailable until the new year after sustaining a suspected calf issue shortly before half-time in the 3-2 defeat at St Mary's.

Emery described the problem as "small" but expects his Spanish compatriot to have "some weeks off" in another blow to a backline which lost Sead Kolasinac to thigh tightness before Sunday's match.

Everton rival Spurs for Barca's Puig

Everton want to sign Barcelona youngster Riqui Puig, claims the Mirror.

Tottenham have also registered their interest in the 19-year-old midfielder, but the Toffees are confident of getting their man having already secured deals for Lucas Digne, Andre Gomes and Yerry Mina this season.

Puig has developed a strong reputation as a talented passer, but has only made one appearace for Barca's senior team so far.

PSV make Robben approach

PSV Eindhoven boss Mark van Bommel has had discussions with Arjen Robben over a move to the Eredivisie club, claim Sport Bild.

The 34-year-old will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season, and played for PSV between 2002-04 before spells at Chelsea and Real Madrid.

Icardi contract talks ongoing

Mauro Icardi says talks over a new contract at Inter are still ongoing, and insists he is not worried about the negotiations.

The striker has been linked with a number of Europe's top clubs including Manchester United and Real Madrid, and Inter's failure to secure qulification to the last 16 of the Champions League last week fueled speculation.

Celtic and Rangers eye Eredivisie striker

Celtic and Rangers have both sent scouts to watch Fran Sol of Eredivisie side Willem II, according to the Mirror.

The 26-year-old striker, who came through Real Madrid's youth system, is out of contract at the end of this season.

Sol has scored 12 league goals in 16 appearances this term for 13th place Willem, and has also been linked with a move to the Premier League.

Arsenal make bid for Under

Arsenal have lodged a £29 million ($36.5m/€32.2m) bid for Roma winger Cengiz Under, reports Tuttumercatoweb.

North London rivals Tottenham have already had an offer for the 21-year-old rejected, and he is one of the most highly-rated youngsters in Europe having notched five goals and five assists in 19 appearances this season.

Barca not thinking about Christensen

Barcelona head coach Ernesto Valverde is not interested in signing a new centre-back in the January transfer window, despite talk of a move for Chelsea's Andreas Christensen.  

A report in Sport on Saturday claimed the Catalans have made a loan offer for Christensen, who has made just one Premier League appearance under Maurizio Sarri this season, as part of a contingency plan to cover for the injury to Samuel Umtiti.

The France international is sidelined with a knee problem and Barca are said to be keen not to be left short-handed in defence, especially given Thomas Vermaelen's persistent injuries.

Exequiel Palacios is a “Real Madrid-style player” says Ponzio

Exequiel Palacios is a “Real Madrid-style player” according to River Plate team-mate Leonardo Ponzio.

The midfielder is a long-time target of Madrid, and this week River’s president Rodolfo D’Onofrio confirmed that the European champions have enquired about bringing the Argentina international to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Madrid had hoped to bring the player in as early as January, but Palacios’s agent Renato Corsi has said it is his client’s preference to remain in Argentina with River until at least the summer.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard sees Dowell as a direct replacement for Ovie Ejaria, who has been allowed to cut his loan short and return to Liverpool.

Dowell has failed to secure regular first-team action at Goodison Park this season, making just two appearances, both in the EFL Cup.

Prem duo eye Travnik move

Fulham and Newcastle are tracking Jablonec midfielder Michal Travnik, according to the Daily Mail.

Augsburg and CSKA Moscow are also interested in the 24-year-old, who is valued at around £4million.

Czech Republic international Travnik has impressed for Jablonec this season, scoring 10 goals in 17 appearances.

Grillitsch linked with Premier League move

Florian Grillitsch's agent travelled to England this week amid reports the Hoffenheim midfielder could make a move to the Premier League, report Bild.

Grillitsch was in England anyway as his Hoffenheim took on Man City in the Champions League, but it was the presence of agent Thomas Bohm that has fuelled rumours of a permanent move to the UK.

Tottenham and Arsenal have both been linked with the Austrian midfielder in recent weeks.
 

 

Inter considering Mourinho offer

Inter Milan are ready to offer Jose Mourinho the chance to make a dramatic return to the San Siro at the end of the season, according to The Express.

Current boss, Luciano Spalletti, is out of contract at the end of the season and the Nerazzurri are unsure whether to offer an extension.

That has led the Serie A club to consider alternatives, with former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte also on their shortlist.

Chelsea won't lower Fabergas valuation

AC Milan remain interested in signing Cesc Fabregas but Chelsea won't budge in their £10.8million (€12million) valuation of the midfielder, according to Calciomercato.

Milan are only prepared to pay in the region of £7.1million (€8million) for the 31-year-old, whose contract expires at the end of the season.

Fabregas has been limited to eight starts for Chelsea this season, with just one of those coming in the Premier League.

West Ham eye Pereira loan deal

West Ham are hoping to sign Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira on loan in January, according to The Mirror.

 Pereira has made just six appearances for the Red Devils this season and has rejected a new three-year contract at Old Trafford.

The Brazilian's contract expires at the end of the season but United have the option to extend it by a year, which they are expected to do before sanctioning a loan move.

 

Ex-Man City chief linked with Newcastle takeover

Former Manchester City chief executive Garry Cook is heading a consortium looking to takeover Newcastle from Mike Ashley, according to The Sun.

Ashley has owned the Magpies for 11 years but revealed earlier this month that he was "hopeful" of concluding a sale of the club.

Former Manchester United and Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon is also fronting a consortium but reports claim he is £100million short of Ashley's asking price.

Chelsea are confident of signing Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson for £30million in January, according to The Express.

Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is keen to bolster his strike force with Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata struggling for consistency.

Wilson has enjoyed a fine season so far, scoring eight goals and registering five assists in 16 league appearances for the Cherries as well as scoring on his England debut against USA last month.

The Costa Rica international has made just eight appearances in all competitions for Los Blancos this campaign.

Arsenal offered Suarez

Arsenal have been offered Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez for a cut-price £14million in January, according to The Independent.

Suarez has struggled for regular action at the Camp Nou this season, making just five appearances in all competitions, and the club are willing to let him leave next month.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery will be familiar with Suarez's abilities after the midfielder spent a season on-loan at Sevilla in 2014.

Milan and Inter could move for Filipe Luis

The 33-year-old's contract runs out at the end of the season, and Atletico's policy of only offering players over 30 one-year deals could push the Brazilian to a new team.

Both Inter and Milan are monitoring the left-back's situation, with neither side entirely convinced by their left-back options at the moment.  

Mourinho unsure if Man Utd will make January signings

The United boss has been publicly pleading for investment into his struggling squad, with defence a particular area of concern for the Portuguese. 

But, speaking ahead of his team's game against Liverpool on Sunday, Mourinho was far from sure about any investment in the January transfer window.

The 18-year-old defender has drawn interest from around Europe after becoming a fixture in the Turkish side's lineup in 2018-19.

United are keen on a swap deal with Juventus, who are interested in Pogba, with Miralem Pjanic or Alex Sandro heading in the other direction.

Everton eye Augustin move in January

The Bluebirds have already put an offer in for Sala, but Fulham's new manager Claudio Ranieri has reportedly made the 28-year-old one of his main targets.

The Argentine is believed to be worth around £25 million (€28m/$31m).
