AC Milan are hopeful of keeping Brahim Diaz beyond the end of this season, according to Marca.
Diaz has impressed for the Rossoneri during the first half of the season since joining on loan from Real Madrid.
Such is the level of his performances the Serie A club are preparing to speak to Los Blancos over extending his stay in Italy, either on a permanent deal or another loan to cover the 2021-22 season.
Magpies eye Sidibe
Newcastle are in talks with Monaco over a deal for Djibril Sidibe, according to Todofichajes.
The deal for the French international could be worth around €11 million (£9.8/$13m).
Sidibe spent the 2019-20 season in the Premier League with Everton.

Tottenham are among a host of clubs interested in signing Wigan teenager Kyle Joseph, reports the Mirror.

Dahlkemper in Man City talks
Manchester City Women are close to signing USWNT defender Abby Dahlkemper, reports The Athletic.
The 27-year-old is expected to travel to England later this month to sign a two-and-a-half year contract.
Dahlkemper, who has made 62 appearances for the US women's national team, has spent the last four years playing for NWSL side North Carolina Courage.
Stootman edging closer to Marseille exit
Marseille midfielder Kevin Stootman is closing to sealing a loan move to Genoa, reports Le10Sport.
The Italian club have agreed to pay half of Strootman's wages for the duration of the loan, with Marseille having been keen to get the Dutchman off the wage bill for a while.
The loan signing of Pol Lirola also meant Strootman's opportunities may be limited during the second half of the campaign, making a loan the best move for all parties.
Grant linked with Chelsea return
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is considering whether to bring former manager Avram Grant back to work with current Blues boss Frank Lampard, according to Sky Sports.
Lampard is under pressure with the Blues down in ninth place after a run of just one win in their last six games.
Grant is a former Chelsea director of football and had a brief spell in charge of the club during the 2007-08 season, where he led them to the Champions League final.
'Ozil is a Fenerbahce fanatic'
Mesut Ozil's agent says the Arsenal midfielder is a “Fenerbahce fanatic” and is hopeful a move to the Turkish club can be completed soon.
In a Twitter question and answer session on Monday, Ozil said that he had no plans to retire and wanted to move to Fenerbahce or Major League Soccer, revealing that he was a fan of the Turkish club as a child growing up in Germany.
The player’s agent, Erkut Sogut, is also hopeful a deal can be struck, reiterating Ozil’s passion for his boyhood club.

Toffees still in race for Silva
Everton are still hopeful of signing Rui Silva despite the Granada goalkeeper supposedly signing a pre-contract at Real Betis, reports Estadio Deportivo.
The 26-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and so is free to discuss terms with other clubs, with reports claiming Betis had won the race for his signature.
However, it is believed the deal is not yet sealed and Silva could still yet end up at Goodison Park, with the Toffees able to pay higher wages than their Spanish rivals.
Fosu-Mensah close to Leverkusen move
