France manager Didier Deschamps says he doesn’t think Paul Pogba is happy with his current situation at Manchester United.

The 27-year-old has struggled for consistent first-team minutes in recent months, with injury problems and a lack of fitness after testing positive for coronavirus among the contributory factors.

Since his return to Old Trafford, Pogba has been consistently linked with the door once more, though he again remained in Manchester during the last transfer window.

Garry Monk has left Sheffield Wednesday, the club have confirmed.

The former Swansea supremo, who took charge at the Swans after a trophy-laden career as a player there, has struggled at the Owls this term, with just three league wins from 11 games.

Monk previously coached Leeds United and Birmingham City, among others.

Fabio Borini has been linked with a return to former club Hellas Verona after leaving in September, says Tuttomercatoweb.

However, the Italian outfit are not the only ones in the market for the free agent, with fellow former club Swansea also interested.

Borini spent a short loan spell with the Swans in 2011, helping them earn promotion to the Premier League in the process.

but Swansea City are reportedly interested too.

The 29-year-old forward could have a future in Serie A, as he is yet to find a new club after his contract at the Bentegodi expires on September 1, 2020.

The former Milan striker has a past at Roma too and experience from spells in England with Chelsea, Swansea, Liverpool and Sunderland.

FC Cincinnati have revealed their roster choices for 2021, with Zico Bailey, Ben Lundt and Haris Medunjanin all seeing their contract options exercised, the club has confirmed.

But a dozen players look set to leave tas the MLS outfit seek to improve their fortunes.

Spanish side Alcorcon have sacked manager Mere Hermoso.

Alcorcon took four points from their first two games this season but sit bottom of the Segunda Division after losing all eight of their games since then.

Mere has previously enjoyed successful spells in charge of Fuenlabrada and Cadiz reserves.

Atletico Mineiro have signed former Napoli, QPR and Hoffenheim forward Eduardo Vargas on a two-year deal.

Celta Vigo are interested in taking former Atletico Madrid forward Mario Mandzukic back to La Liga, reports COPE.

The 34-year-old forward is currently a free agent following a brief spell in Qatar with Al-Duhail.

Mandzukic scored 20 goals in 43 appearances in his sole season at Atletico.

Liverpool planned to send young goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher out on loan during the summer window but the move was scuppered by the injury to first-choice stopper Alisson.

Burnley centre-half James Tarkowski would be a “decent” option for Liverpool to consider if they do decide to bring in cover for Virgil van Dijk during the January transfer window, says Chris Kirkland.

The former Reds goalkeeper told FootballFanCast: "Obviously there was a lot of talk about Tarkowski at Burnley. I like him, I think he’s decent."

Juventus and Inter are vying for the signature of Hellas Verona defender Matteo Lovato - according to Calcio Mercato.

Both clubs are planning to launch bids for the 20-year-old next year, with his current market value set at around €20 million (£18m/$24m).

Lovato has featured in seven Serie A matches for Verona at the start of the new season.

Everton are not planning to recall Moise Kean from Paris Saint-Germain in January - according to The Athletic.

Kean has scored five goals in seven appearances for PSG since moving to Parc des Princes on a season-long loan deal last month.

Everton do not wish to cut the 20-year-old striker's stay in France short, but will bring him back to Goodison Park at the end of the campaign.

Inter are set to swoop for Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kane in 2021 - according to Canal Plus.

Nerazzurri boss Antonio Conte is eager to arrange a reunion with the French midfielder, who he signed from Leicester while in charge at Chelsea in 2016.

Inter may face competition from Madrid for Kante's signature though, with the Spanish giants on the lookout for Luka Modric's successor as he approaches the latter stages of his career.

MLS outfit eyeing Madrid captain

David Beckham wants to bring Sergio Ramos to Inter Miami next year - according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Real Madrid defender has yet to sign a contract extension at Santiago Bernabeu, with his current deal set to expire next summer.

Beckham is hoping to lure Ramos to his MLS franchise in Miami, but the Blancos are confident he will end up signing a renewal.

Having played fewer than 500 minutes of first-team football for Manchester United last season, Angel Gomes seemed little more than an afterthought at Old Trafford.

Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer deployed the versatile attacker for a grand total of 19 minutes in the Premier League, and though he was granted more time in the Carabao Cup and Europa League, when the time came to negotiate a new deal, Gomes had made his mind up.

The former Celtic striker continues to impress at Lyon and has seen a move to the Premier League mooted for some time.

Memphis Depay has been heavily linked with a move from Lyon to Barcelona and continues to keep a transfer door open.

He has said on his future plans: "I'm not going to make promises that I'm not sure I can keep."

The Dutch winger is expected to be targeted by former Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman once again when the winter transfer window opens.

The Argentine goalkeeper has slipped down the pecking order at Old Trafford and is eager to find regular minutes elsewhere in January.

Manchester United need four players like Bruno Fernandes, according to Louis Saha, who says the Red Devils must spend more to compete for the "big trophies".

Solskjaer has spent in excess of £200 million ($264m) on new players since inheriting the managerial reins at Old Trafford, bringing in talent such as Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Fernandes and Donny van de Beek with a view to bringing back the glory days.

That sizeable investment has yet to deliver tangible success in the form of major silverware, with the Red Devils still struggling for consistency and lagging behind Liverpool and Manchester City.

Italian giants set to cash in on veteran striker

Juventus are planning to put Cristiano Ronaldo on the market next summer - according to AS.

The Bianconeri are hoping to recoup a major chunk of their €100 million (£90m/$119m) investment in the Portuguese by selling him a year before his current contract expires.

Juve think it is risky to extend Ronaldo's stay given the fact he turns 36 in February, and can no longer justify meeting his lofty wage demands.

Chelsea and Milan are both chasing the signature of Malmo defender Anel Ahmedhodzic - according to Calcio Mercato.

The 21-year-old could be available for around £10 million when the transfer window reopens in January.

Chelsea see Ahmedhodzic as a potential long-term replacement for Thiago Silva, while Milan are eager to bolster their defensive ranks to challenge for the Serie A title.

Lille midfielder Renato Sanches is the subject of interest from Wolves - according to Calcio Mercato.

The 23-year-old has rediscovered his best form since moving to France in 2019, having previously taken in unsuccessful spells at Bayern Munich and Swansea.

Wolves may be prepared to offer Sanches a return to the Premier League, but he does still have three years left to run on his current contract at Lille.

Arsenal new midfield recruit Thomas Partey is set to have a scan on a suspected thigh injury suffered during Sunday’s defeat against Aston Villa, head coach Mikel Arteta has confirmed.

The Ghana international lasted just 45 minutes at Emirates Stadium before being forced off during the break and replaced by Dani Ceballos.

News of Partey’s injury capped a miserable evening for the Gunners, who slipped to a 3-0 defeat thanks to two goals from Ollie Watkins and an own goal from Buyako Saka.

West Brom manager Slaven Bilic insists he's not worried about his future at the club despite the club failing to win any of their first eight Premier League games.

“To be fair, for me, it’s a nonsense to raise a question about my future. All this time I am trying my best and we have shown enough for this club to be successful," Bilic said on Sunday. 

“I am not at all worried, I don’t even think about that.”

Goalkeeper Andrew Redmayne has pulled out of Sydney FC's Asian Champions League squad, the club has confirmed. 

Redmayne's wife is currently pregnant and he has opted against making the trip to Qatar. 

“With my wife heavily pregnant I couldn’t risk missing the birth of my first child,” Redmayne said. 

“I’ll continue to work hard with the youth team and support staff whilst in Sydney to afford myself the best preparation for the new A-League season starting in December." 

Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhim Kelleher was denied a chance to move to the Eredivisie on loan after an injury to Alisson, Republic of Ireland manager Stephen Kenny has revealed. 

“We really need Caoimhin Kelleher to get matches under his belt as we feel he is ready to play for us. He is good enough to play for Ireland, but he’s not playing matches so it’s an issue," Kenny said on Sunday. 

“He would have benefitted from that [move] we feel, but it’s not easy to play at Liverpool." 

The Brazilian is happy to remain in France

Neymar has told Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo that he wants to re-sign with the club, according to Telefoot. 

The 28-year-old is currently contracted until 2022 and PSG have yet to offer him a new deal.

Southampton and Brentford are chasing LASK winger Husein Balic, reports the Daily Mail. 

Balic, nicknamed 'The Sprinter', is believed to be one of the fastest footballers right now and could cost just £2.8 million in January. 

Scottish giants Celtic have also previously shown interest in the 24-year-old. 

Scottish midfielder Graham Dorrans has left Dundee for an overseas move, the club has confirmed. 

Dorrans has previously played for West Brom and Norwich City. 

Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich will be sidelined until 2021 after successfully completing surgery on his knee.

The 25-year-old needed to have an operation on his right lateral meniscus after being substituted in the 36th minute of the Bundesliga champions' 3-2 win over Dortmund on Saturday.

On Sunday evening, Bayern released a statement on their club website informing that Kimmich would not return from his injury until at least January.
