Reyes set to depart Miami


Andres Reyes will not return to Inter Miami as his loan expires this winter, reports El Deportivo

Reyes started 13 games for Inter Miami, but the club will not exercise their purchase option on the defender.

The defender will return to Colombian side Atletico Nacional, who have yet to determine if he will stay with the club or be sold this winter.

FC Cincy add goalkeeper Cropper


FC Cincinnati have signed goalkeeper Cody Cropper, the club confirmed.

Cropper heads to Cincy after previously featuring for the New England Revolution and Houston Dynamo.

The 27-year-old has also previously been on the books at Southampton and MK Dons.

Schalke looking to bring in Kolasinac


Schalke are looking to bring Sead Kolasinac back to the club, reports Sky Sports.

The German club would look to sign the defender on loan as the fullback would make the temporary move from Arsenal.

Kolasinac would like to seal a return to his former club, where he played from 2011-17.

Ronaldo hoping to play for 'many years' more


Cristiano Ronaldo says he has no intention of retiring any time soon as he says he expects to play for "many years".

The Juventus star is set to turn 36 in February, but he insists he has no intention to slow down.

Arsenal are aiming to land Real Madrid midfielder Isco on a short-term loan in January, reports The Telegraph.

The 28-year-old has only started three league games this season and could be looking for a fresh challenge elsewhere.

Wilshere wants MLS move


Free agent midfielder Jack Wilshere is aiming for a move to Major League Soccer, reports The Times.

The ex-Arsenal star, who turns 29 on Friday, has been without a club since his contract with West Ham was terminated in October.

Wilshere is staying in shape currently by training with Championship side Bournemouth.

Barca presidential candidate makes Haaland promise


Erling Haaland will become a Barcelona player if Emili Rousaud wins the club's presidential elections, according to the candidate's advisor.

Haaland has scored an impressive 33 times in 32 games in all competitions for Dortmund since making the move in January.

Sounders set to bring back Joao Paulo


The Seattle Sounders appear set to bring back midfielder Joao Paulo, reports Pulso Sports.

The Brazilian midfielder was on loan from Brazilian club Botafogo in 2020 as he helped the club reach the MLS Cup finale.

Paulo had two goals and five assists in 19 matches for the Sounders this season.

'Liverpool need to sign a centre-back or kiss the title goodbye!'


John Aldridge says that Liverpool must complete a deal for a centre-back in January if they hope to contend for a second consecutive Premier League crown.

The Reds are without Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez due to long-term injuries, while Joel Matip has battled injury issues this season as well.

Villarreal complete signing of Capoue


Villarreal have completed the signing of Etienne Capoue from Watford.

Capoue has signed a deal that runs through June 2023 and will be eligible to debut as soon as January 4.

The French midfielder spent five-and-a-half seasons with Watford after joining from Tottenham, making 181 appearances.

Juventus closing in on Genoa midfielder Rovella


Juventus are nearing a deal for Genoa midfielder Nicolo Rovella, Goal can confirm.

Atalanta have confirmed the signing of Joakim Maehle from Genk.

Genk announced last week that the 23-year-old right-back had signed a five-year deal with the Italian club and the Serie A side have announced he has passed a medical and is officially an Atalanta player.

Inter still want Zaniolo but he prefers Roma stay


Nicolo Zaniolo has no intention of returning to Inter any time soon.

The Nerazzurri want to bring the midfielder back to San Siro, having watched him shine in the capital since his move in 2018.

But Calciomercato reports Roma have no interest in selling him and the 21-year-old wants to extend his contract with the club.

Chelsea pause academy loans ahead of FA Cup clash


Chelsea have stopped discussions on loan moves for academy players until mid-January to allow Frank Lampard to select as many Under-23s stars as possible for the FA Cup third-round clash with Morecambe.

Tino Anjorin, Henry Lawrence and Lewis Bate are among the youngsters who will likely start against the League Two side at Stamford Bridge on January 10.

The Gunners academy manager has played a key role in negotiations to sign the 19-year-old, who looks set to make a €600,000 move to Emirates Stadium in 2021.

Rekik has featured prominently in Hertha's second-string side this season, but as it stands, he will drop into the free agency pool next summer.

I would swap Dybala for Kane instead of Pogba - Capello


Fabio Capello has admitted he would like to see Harry Kane join Juventus, and that he'd swap Paulo Dybala for the Tottenham striker instead of Paul Pogba.

Dybala has been heavily linked with a move away from Juve in recent weeks, with the attacker yet to commit to fresh terms at the Allianz Stadium.

Goal has reported that the Argentine turned down the chance to extend his stay at the Allianz Stadium beyond 2022 over the summer, with the Bianconeri's offer deemed too low by both the player and his representatives.

AC Milan are lining up a move for Mohamed Simakan in January, Sky Sport reports.

The Serie A leaders want to strengthen in the centre of defence and see the 20-year-old Strasbourg star as an ideal candidate.

United want to increase competition on the right side of defence and Aarons is at the top of their list of targets.

Football Insider claims the Bundesliga side have approached the English club about the 18-year-old, whose contract expires at the end of the season.

Villa ready to loan out Guilbert


Aston Villa are ready to send Frederic Guilbert out on loan - according to Football Insider.

The Lions do not wish to sell the 26-year-old outright, but are open to sanctioning his temporary departure so he can take in some regular playing time.

Guilbert has only featured in two games for Villa this season, both of which came during their EFL Cup campaign.

Genoa close in on Lazio defender Vavro


Genoa are closing in on the signing of Lazio defender Denis Vavro - according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The 24-year-old will move to Luigi Ferraris Stadium on an initial loan deal, with a €15 million (£14m/$18m) option to buy included in the agreement.

Vavro is no longer in Lazio's plans, and could head to Genoa to complete a medical later this week.

The Chicago Red Stars have acquired U.S. national team forward/winger Mallory Pugh and midfielder Sarah Killion Woldmoe in a trade from Sky Blue FC.

In exchange, Sky Blue will receive the fourth and eighth overall selections in the 2021 NWSL Draft, a conditional first round pick in the 2022 NWSL Draft and an international slot for 2021 and 2022.

For Pugh, it is her second trade within the space of a year after joining Sky Blue from the Washington Spirit in January. Due to injury and a reduced schedule amid the coronavirus pandemic, the World Cup winner made just one appearance for Sky Blue.
