'De Ligt fits us' - Barca president

Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu has claimed his club have a good relationship with Ajax and thinks Matthijs de Ligt fits their style, but is unsure if they will sign the defender.

After signing De Ligt's team-mate Frenkie de Jong, speculation has ramped up that Barca would also add the defender to their mix this summer.

Bartomeu spoke on those rumours as well as addressing reports that have continued to link Antoine Griezmann to Camp Nou.

Arsenal and Man Utd battle for Neres

Ajax star David Neres is set to be the subject of a battle for his signature between Premier League heavyweights Manchester United and Arsenal, according to the Sun.

The £45 million-rated ($59m) Brazilian has drawn interest from the likes Everton and Chelsea as well, though the Blues have a potential transfer ban looming which could end their pursuit.

While Lyon and Napoli are in pursuit of Bennacer, with Napoli already having made an offer, the Gunners included the clause when they moved him on in 2017.

However, at the moment Arsenal have not shown any interest in activating the clause. 

Leipzig chasing Spurs youngster

RB Leipzig are hoping to sign Tottenham youngster Troy Parrott  according to Football Insider

Leipzig are monitoring multiple young players at English clubs and have heavily scouted Parrott in advance of a possible summer approach.

Parrott has not made his senior team debut yet for Spurs, though he has trained with the first team multiple times. 

Salzburg name Marsch as new head coach

Former New York Red Bulls head coach Jesse Marsch has been named the next boss at sister club Red Bull Salzburg, the Austrian side announced.

Salzburg’s current coach Marco Rose will depart the club at the end of the season to take over Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach next term.

And Marsch, who has worked under Ralf Rangnick this season as an assistant at RB Leipzig, has been named his successor, effective at the end of the current campaign.

Barca want £100m Rashford deal

Barcelona are plotting a £100 million ($131m) transfer swoop for Manchester United star Marcus Rashford this summer, according to the Mirror.

Rashford has emerged as the Liga leaders' top transfer target this summer as Barca and Man Utd prepare to square off in the second leg of their Champions League tie Tuesday.

United have hoped to keep Rashford with £300,000-a-week offer and have no intentions of letting him leave, but Barca will not be deterred and hope to take advantage of the forward's contract situation to seal a deal.

Roma director wants Dzeko renewal

New Roma sporting director Frederic Massara will meet with club co-owner James Pallotta in order to convince him of the priority of renewing Edin Dzeko's contract, according to Calciomercato.com.

Massara, who replaced Monchi in the director role, believes renewing the deal should be the club's top priority as Dzeko has just one year remaining on his contract.

The forward has interest from Inter Milan and West Ham.

Injury may derail Arsenal permanent move for Suarez

A groin injury may derail the chances of Denis Suarez moving permanently to Arsenal from Barcelona, according to the Daily Mail.

Suarez was convinced to join the club by Unai Emery over other teams in Spain but has made just six substitute appearances as a groin injury has sidelined him since March 10.

The plan is to reduce his training workload further in hopes of solving the problem, but his lack of playing time may leave the Gunners reluctant to exercise his purchase option, which is north of £20 million ($26m).

De Tomas wants Madrid return

On-loan Real Madrid forward Raul de Tomas wants a return to the club this summer, but wants assurances he can compete for a place in the team, according to AS.

De Tomas has been on loan at Rayo Vallecano, scoring 14 goals in 29 Liga games this season and is hoping to play himself into Spain's Euro 2020 plans with a strong campaign next season.

While he doesn't expect a starting spot from Zinedine Zidane, he wants a promise he'll be given a fair chance to fight for a spot in the squad and if he can't get that, will look for a move elsewhere.

Inter weigh up move for Gundogan

Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is the subject of interest from Inter, as he continues to stall on a new contract with the Premier League champions, according to Tuttosport.

Pep Guardiola claimed last week that the German midfielder did not want to extend his deal with City, leading to speculation that he could be moved on this summer.

The report claims that a £26 million (€30m) bid from Inter could be enough to tempt City into a sale, with the former Dortmund man having just one year left on his existing deal.

Madrid to offer Bale for Pogba

Manchester United are considering paying the £31 million (€36m) release clause of Roma defender Kostas Manolas, according to Leggo’s Rome edition.

United are known to be in the market for a new centre-back this summer, with the likes of Kalidou Koulibaly and Raphael Varane both being linked with a move to Old Trafford.

But according to this report, Manolas features highly on United's wishlist because of his affordability. Juventus are also said to be weighing up a move for the Greek international.

Gracia on Chelsea shortlist

The Blues are thought to have been impressed with the Spaniard's style this season, which has seen the Hornets guided to an FA Cup final and an impressive position in the Premier League.

The report claims that Spurs chiefs watched Andersen play for Sampdoria against Genoa over the weekend.

Sampdoria scout Riccardo Pecini used to work for Spurs and is a good friend of Tottenham chief scout Steve Hitchen.

Liverpool contract rebel aims dig at Klopp

Liverpool youngster Rafael Camacho has taken to Instagram to hit out at Jurgen Klopp and his coaching staff, amid rumours that he could leave the club at the end of the season.

The 18-year-old has one year left on his contract and scored a hat-trick for Liverpool U23s on Sunday, before expressing his disappointment at being used as a right-back by the first team.

“I do not know whose idea it is, but I will prove that they are mistaken about my football,” Camacho’s post read.

“I'm not a right defender, I'm an attacker who scores goals. This is my DNA."

Goal understands that Liverpool have fielded a number of enquires from other club’s regarding Camacho’s availability, with Wolves, RB LeipzigBenfica and Sporting Lisbon all said have registered their interest ahead of the summer transfer window.

West Ham join race for Perisic

Inter winger Ivan Perisic is the subject of interest from West Ham, according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport. 

The Croatian is also on Arsenal and Tottenham's radar, after being heavily linked with a summer exit at San Siro.

Juve unwilling to pay €80m for Umtiti

The Blaugrana have put an €80m ($91m, £69m) price tag on the Frenchman's head, with a number of top European clubs chasing his signature.

The Bianconeri are unwilling to pay such a huge fee for Umtiti, who has fallen down the pecking order behind Clement Lenglet at Camp Nou this season.

Juve set to seal Portuguese duo
