Torino have made an offer worth €4 million for Parma midfielder Jasmin Kurtic, Gianlucia Di Marzio reports.

The Serie A side will offer him a two-year contract, but Parma do not want to sell him.

No progress in AC Milan talks with Calhanoglu


AC Milan are no closer to convincing Hakan Calhanoglu to extend his contract after the latest round of talks.

The Rossoneri have been in negotiations with the attacking midfielder's agent, but Sky Sport says they cannot convince him to lower his wage demands.

They are willing to pay around €3.5 million per year, but Calhanoglu reportedly wants double that figure.

Marseille make new Milik offer


Marseille are not giving up on their pursuit of Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik.

The Ligue 1 side have made a new offer worth €8 milion (£7m/$10m) for him, says Calciomercato, but Napoli have turned it down.

Napoli are demanding around €15m (£12m/$18m) for him, even though they could lose him for free in the summer if they do not sell this month.

New Zealand international Sarpreet Singh is keen to show Bayern Munich that he has what it takes to star at the Allianz Arena when he eventually returns to the Bundesliga champions.

Singh, 21, stood out while representing New Zealand at the Under-20 World Cup back in 2019.

Three candidates are in the running to became Barcelona president after Emili Rousaud withdrew from the electoral process.

Joan Laporta, Victor Font and Toni Freixa are the trio of candidates who are in the race to be named president.

Laporta had 9,625 signatures validated, while there were 4,431 and 2,634 for Font and Freixa respectively in the validation process for an election that will take place on Sunday January 24.

Man City centre-back has reached agreement with Catalan side

Barcelona are closing in on the signing of Eric Garcia from Manchester City, Sport reports.

The 20-year-old has reached an agreement with the Spanish giants and will join this month if they can strike a deal with Manchester City. Otherwise he will make the move in June for free.

Pizzi replaces Beccacece as Racing coach


Racing Club have appointed Juan Antonio Pizzi as coach, Telam reports.

The 52-year-old has agreed to replace Sebastian Beccacece at the helm of the Argentine side.

Man Utd move is a dream come true - Diallo


Amad Diallo says he is targeting Premier League and Champions League glory after completing a "dream" move to Manchester United.

United reached an agreement to sign Diallo from Atalanta for £37 million ($51m) on the final day of the summer transfer window.

However, the final deal was subject to personal terms and work permit, with the Red Devils forced to apply for a governing body exemption before the winger could obtain a visa.

RB Leipzig are resigned to losing Dayot Upamecano in the summer transfer window - according to The Guardian.

The German club won't sell the defender this month, but they accept that they'll be powerless to prevent him from leaving at the end of the season amid links with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

Upamecano, whose current deal at Leipzig is not due to expire until 2023, could be snapped up for as little as £42 million ($57m) later this year.

Ighalo opens door to MLS switch


Odion Ighalo has opened the door to a potential switch to MLS as he approaches the end of his loan spell at Manchester United.

The Red Devils surprised many when they snapped up Ighalo from Shanghai Shenhua on a six-month deal in last year's winter transfer window.

The 31-year-old scored five goals for United in the second half of the 2020-19 campaign, despite mainly being used as a substitute, providing valuable cover for Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford in the final third of the pitch.

Mandzukic could be set for a quick return to Italy, having played for Juventus from 2015 to 2020.

Nathaniel Clyne is set to sign a new contract at Crystal Palace, manager Roy Hodgson has confirmed.

Clyne signed a deal with Palace through January and has proven he can stay healthy, playing in nine league games since joining in October.

The 20-year-old winger has made just three senior appearances for Spurs this season, spending most of the campaign with the club's U23 side.
