Free agent Hatem Ben Arfa could join Nice to play alongside Mario Balotelli, RMC Sport reports.

The 31-year-old spent the 2015-16 season at the club, where he hit a career-high 17 goals in 34 league games. He would like to return to his former team, especially with Balotelli deciding to extend his stay in the south French city.

Ben Arfa has been without a club since his Paris Saint-Germain contract expired at the end of last season.

Sevilla interested in Kagawa

Sevilla are looking at bringing in Shinji Kagawa from Borussia Dortmund, according to El Desmarque.

The 29 year old former Manchester United attacker is said to be looking to leave Dortmund and could head for La Liga before the transfer window closes next week.

The Chile international is set to miss six months of action due to a ruptured Achilles' tendon but Guardiola says he trusts Montenegro Under-21 stopper Aro Muric to step in as back-up to No.1 Ederson.

"Unfortunately with Claudio the first option was [for Muric] to come back because the window is closed. We have Aro and Grimshaw. They will be our three goalkeepers."

Sarri confirms Hazard will remain at Chelsea

Maurizio Sarri has confirmed that Eden Hazard will stay at Chelsea despite interest from Real Madrid.

The Spanish club have been heavily linked with the Belgium international, but Sarri does not intend to let him go, either this summer or in January.

“I am the coach of a very good team," he said. "I am the coach of a very great club. And so I think that such an important club cannot sell a very important player without the possibility of buying another very important player at the same level.

"So I think that Eden will stay with us for all the season.”

Loftus-Cheek to stay at Chelsea

Liverpool deny club is for sale

The Reds insist meetings last year were informal

Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group insist the club is not for sale following reports of a failed £2 billion ($2.6bn) takeover attempt from an Abu Dhabi consortium earlier this year.

A report in the Daily Mail on Thursday stated that Sheikh Khaled Bin Zayed Al Nehayan, the cousin of Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour, approached representatives of the Reds’ American owners in late 2017, with a view to a world-record buy-out of the Anfield club.

While Liverpool chairman Tom Werner did meet with Mansour's managing director, Goal understands that the meeting was informal and that Sheikh Khaled’s “proposal of interest” was handled, as all such proposals are, by Allen and Company, the New York-based investment bank hired by FSG to advise on numerous issues, including investment enquiries.
