Man Utd have two Mourinho replacements in mind

2018-09-27T22:02:07Z

Manchester United have a pair of high priority targets in mind should they decided to move away from Jose Mourinho, according to le10sport.

The on-going feud with Paul Pogba and the club's performance leaves it like he will depart the club, by the summer at the latest.

And the Red Devils have Zinedine Zidane and Mauricio Pochettino as their top choices for the post if the change is made.

2018-09-27T21:42:30Z

Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker believes that both Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba should be shown the exit door at Old Trafford.

Reports of a fractious relationship between the Portuguese boss and the World Cup-winning midfielder have been circling for months and the situation escalated this week after a dismal 1-1 draw with Wolves last Saturday.

The United head coach appears to be on borrowed time in his role at Old Trafford and according to Parker, both men should be forced out if the team is to turn around its fortunes on the pitch.

As a result, Pogba is no longer thought of as untouchable, and an offer of £140 million might be enough to get the Red Devils to bite.

Newcastle hope Benitez will stay

2018-09-27T16:32:04Z

Newcastle have not abandoned hope that they will be able to keep Rafa Benitez beyond the season and are rejecting replacements offered to them, according to the Mirror.

Benitez has butted heads with owner Mike Ashley over transfer policy, and as it stands now, the manager is likely to depart at the end of the season.

However, that would drastically cut the financial valuation of the club, which is putting increasing pressure on Ashley to come to a long-term agreement with Benitez.
