Latest Wilfried Zaha Transfer Odds: Crystal Palace forward odds-on to stay

Wilfried Zaha is 17/20 (1.85) to stay at Crystal Palace, despite handing in a transfer request on Wednesday.

The wantaway winger was the subject of multiple bids from Arsenal before they turned their attention to Nicolas Pepe, but more recently the Ivorian has been linked with Everton.

Palace reportedly rejected a cash-plus-player package consisting of £70 million ($85m), Cenk Tosun and James McCarthy, with the latter now set to join the Eagles in a separate deal.

Zaha scored 10 goals and added five assists for the Eagles last season, helping his side to 12th in the Premier League with 49 points – their highest top-flight total since 1992.

The English transfer window shuts at 5pm BST on August 8 and the 17/20 (1.85) price on Zaha to stay at Selhurst Park with 888Sport could yet prove to be the lengthiest quote available until that time.

It is also 17/20 (1.85) that Everton do manage to secure Zaha’s signature before the deadline on Thursday, although a move to Merseyside for the 26-year-old seems unlikely with such little time left.

The Toffees emerged as somewhat of a surprise suitor to sign the Palace star, even going so far as to release a statement on July 30 denying they had offered “an increased sum plus Cenk Tosun and James McCarthy”.

Additionally, Everton have made moves towards signing Alex Iwobi from Arsenal, who rejected an opening £30m offer for the 23-year-old, making another bid for Zaha unlikely even after he handed in a transfer request.

888Sport also offer 8/1 (9.0) that Tottenham launch a surprise bid for the winger. Spurs are reportedly in talks with Paulo Dybala and Philippe Coutinho, with little to indicate they will turn their attentions closer to home.

Arsenal are 9/1 (10.0) shots whilst Borussia Dortmund can be backed at 10/1 (11.0). German clubs are free to make moves until August 31 and the Bundesliga side could yet convince Zaha to follow in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho.

The 19-year-old left Manchester City in 2017 and shone for Lucien Favre’s men last season, scoring 12 times and registering nine assists as Dortmund fell just short of winning the title.
