Thai club, Nakhonratchasima FC has agreed to sell the player to the Red Eagles and all that is left are the personal terms to be agreed with between Rangel and Kedah.

Rangel joined Nakhonratchasima in 2017 after spending some time back in Brazil following a prolong spell in Southeast Asia. From 2012 until 2016, Rangel has played for Muangthong United, Perak, Selangor, Terengganu and Johor Darul Ta'zim II.

The experienced forward is expected to take the place of Spaniard Pablo Pallares who has failed to meet expectations since signing for Kedah in January.

During his time in the Malaysia Super League, Rangel has more than shown his capability to find the back of the net and Kedah are in dire need of someone of his ability for the remaining campaign this season.

However, it does look unlikely that the Rangel signing will be completed in time for Tuesday's Super League encounter against Pahang but the Brazilian will get to see first hand how his new team mates play in that match at Darul Aman Stadium.
