Will we see a similar stirring performance from Spurs at the Etihad?

Tottenham put in a magnificent performance to win their Champions League quarter-final against Manchester City at the Etihad during the week  - but they actually lost that particular game 4-3 - and it's going to be just as tough to get the victory on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola's team are shooting for the Premier League title and can't afford to slip up with title rival Liverpool having an easy run of matches to the finish line.

While the Citizens have bowed out of Europe, their domestic form has been imperious, winning nine consecutive league matches dating back to a January defeat at Newcastle United.

City have won their past three Premier League games against Tottenham, scoring eight goals and conceding two, and another win versus Mauricio Pochettino's side will equal their record consecutive victories in the fixture.

Raheem Sterling is in scintillating form of late, scoring four goals in his last two matches, and very unlucky not to make it five with the disallowed goal against Spurs in the Champions League.

The injury absence of Harry Kane was supposed to be a stress for Spurs, but statistics say it doesn't have much impact, with the team winning all five of their games this season without their talisman.

However Spurs have lost their last four Premier League away games and have only won one of their last eight matches on the road in all competitions.

South Korean superstar Son Heung-Min scored his 20th goal of the season against City in the Champions League - and will be the man Guardiola instructs his defenders to watch closely.

With one eye on the Champions League, Spurs need to be careful their league form doesn't drop, with their lead over fifth-placed Chelsea only at one point with a game in hand
