The Costa Rica international has left the Gunners after failing to establish himself in the club's starting XI
Joel Campbell has left Arsenal for Serie A side Frosinone, the Premier League club have announced.
The forward joined the Gunners in 2014 but never established himself as a first-team regular, scoring just four goals and providing six assists.
Indeed, Campbell embarked on a number of loan spells during his time in north London, spending time at Lorient, Olympiacos, Villarreal, Sporting Lisbon and Real Betis, with whom he had two spells.
The 26-year-old, who can play on both flanks and through the middle, has never scored over 10 goals in a single campaign, and saw his 2017-18 season disrupted by injury, as he scored twice in eight appearances.
Campbell has enjoyed more success on the international stage, netting 15 goals in his 79 Costa Rica caps.
He was a member of his country's squad at the 2018 World Cup, playing against Serbia and Switzerland.
He also featured in every game as Costa Rica reached the quarter-finals of the 2014 tournament, scoring in their 3-1 win over Uruguay.
