Ivory Coast’s Luc Kassi powers Stabaek past Molde

Luc Kassi was on target for Stabaek as they defeated Molde 3-2 in a Norwegian Eliteserien game on Sunday.

The hosts took the lead courtesy John Hou Saeter in the 16th minute. The lead was then doubled by the Ivorian midfielder after 58 minutes.

Bjorn Sigurdarson halved the deficit for the visitors three minutes later, but a well-taken penalty by Ohi Omoijuanfo restored the two-goal advantage for the Baerum based side with 16 minutes left in the game.

Fredrik Brustad’s late goal with two minutes left to play ensured for a tense finish but Antoni Ordinas’s side held on for the win that sees them climb up to sixth on the Norwegian top-flight log.

The Nadderud Stadium outfit will next visit the Color Line Stadium to tackle Aalesund on September 10.
