Our tipster thinks that Senol Gunes' men can continue their recent rich vein of form when they travel to take on Erik Hamren's side on Tuesday night

Turkey travel to take on Iceland in a crucial Euro 2020 qualifier on Tuesday night.

Senol Gunes' side are the surprise leaders of Group H after three matches, turning in a terrific display to see off world champions France on Saturday night. As such, Turkey will make the trip to Reykjavik in confident mood.

Despite that defeat, France remain as firm favourites to take one of the two automatic qualification spots on offer in Group H and Tuesday's tussle could prove pivotal in the race to reach next summer's European Championships.

Latest odds

Iceland have won two of their opening three Group H games and Hamren's men are available at 9/5 (2.80) with bet365 to pick up all three points here.

Turkey are chalked up as a 6/4 (2.50) chance to maintain their perfect start to the qualification campaign with victory. The odds compilers offer 9/4 (3.25) that both of these sides settle for a share of the spoils.

Team news

Johann Berg Gudmundsson was Iceland's goal hero against Albania on Saturday and the Burnley midfielder will be hopeful of making his mark again here. Cardiff City's Aron Gunnarsson is expected to skipper the side.

Gunes could name an unchanged side after Saturday's stunning victory. Kaan Ayhan has scored twice for Turkey thus far during this qualifying campaign and Iceland must be wary of the threat posed by the Fortuna Düsseldorf man.

Turkey are unbeaten in their last six matches, winning each of their last five. Defensive discipline has been the cornerstone of that recent success for Gunes' men, having conceded just one goal in their last six outings.

As such, the 7/4 (2.75) quote from bet365 for the visitors to keep a clean sheet here could prove popular. The same firm go 3/1 (4.0) that Turkey win without conceding in the Icelandic capital.

Turkey have lost just one of their last six fixtures away from home. Gunes' men are playing with renewed belief and were hugely impressive in their win against France at the weekend.

Iceland have enjoyed narrow wins against Andorra and Albania in Group H. The victory against Andorra, though, ended a run of 17 successive matches without a win and they are not playing in the manner that saw them reach the last eight of this competition in sensational style three years ago.

The visitors look well-placed to continue their qualification campaign with another impressive victory and, as such, bet365's 6/4 (2.50) quote for Gunes' men to come out on top in Reykjavik could well represent real value.
