The Azzurri have an excellent recent defensive record and we think they can keep another clean sheet when they head to the Greek capital this weekend

The top two sides in Group J meet on Saturday evening in Athens as Greece host Italy.

The Azzurri have won both of their matches so far, overcoming Finland and Liechtenstein as expected, while the Greeks have four points from a possible six after an unconvincing win over Liechtenstein and a draw with Bosnia.

Latest odds

These two sides have met only once in the last 30 years, with that sole clash being a friendly which finished 1-1 in 2008. The hosts are offered at 7/2 (4.50) with 888Sport, while Roberto Mancini's men can be backed at 51/50 (2.02) and the draw at 11/5 (3.20).

Team news

Kostas Manolas Greece

The most notable inclusion in the Italy squad is Torino forward Andrea Belotti, who netted 15 times this season, although Serie A top scorer Fabio Quagliarella is likely to start up front. Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is out injured so there is a call up for Atalanta stopper Pierluigi Gollini.

Greece lost 2-1 in a friendly against Turkey last weekend, but were without first choice centre-back pairing Kostas Manolas and Sokratis Papastathopoulos, who will both return this Saturday.

The natural angle for this game is to oppose goals, with these two sides both being relatively strong in defence while lacking a cutting edge up front.

Under 2.5 goals has paid out in eight of Italy's last nine matches in all competitions while proving the correct selection in 10 of the last 13 matches Greece have contested.

It is understandable therefore to see a repeat offered at 23/50 (1.46) and Saturday's game seems almost certain to be a tight affair.

Italy have kept four consecutive clean sheets, while Greece have failed to score in three of their last five home matches and perhaps there should be some interest in opposing the hosts to get on the scoresheet.

Tips and predictions

Angelos Anastasiadis' are priced at 27/25 (2.08) to score under 0.5 goals and finding the back of the net has long since been a problem for Greece.

Against an Italian side yet to concede in qualifying, the Hellenic nation could struggle once more in the final third. Backing Italy to win to nil could also be an option at 37/20 (2.85)
