Los Azulones boast an excellent home record while Zidane's side have been prolific on the road - meaning we should see goals at both ends on Thursday

Champions League chasers Getafe welcome Real Madrid to the Coliseum Alfonso Perez on Thursday evening.

Pepe Bordalas' side have been the revelation of the La Liga season and begin matchday 34 in fourth place, which would represent their best ever top-flight finish.

Los Azulones have won six of their last seven home matches and will feel they have a strong chance of getting something from the game against their neighbours from the north of the Spanish capital.

Latest odds

Zinedine Zidane's men are playing for little more than pride, although they have won their last ten matches against Getafe. bet365 offer the visitors at 9/10 (1.90) to win while the host can be backed at 3/1 (4.00) and the draw at 13/5 (3.60).

Team news

Captain Sergio Ramos and right-back Alvaro Odriozola remain injured for Real Madrid. Vinicius Jr has been training this week with the squad and is in line to feature for the first time in nearly two months.

Getafe are without full-back Vitorino Antunes and winger Amath Ndiaye.

This season the Coliseum Alfonso Perez has been a real fortress, with only Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico winning more home matches than Getafe.

The side from the south of Madrid boast a rock-solid defence that has conceded just 11 home goals this term - the third best record in the division - while up front they have three dangerous forwards in Jorge Molina, Jaime Mata and Angel Rodriguez.

Los Blancos, meanwhile, have failed to win their last two away games, drawing 1-1 at Getafe's near neighbours Leganes last time out after a 2-1 defeat at Valencia.

The 13-time European champions have kept just one clean sheet in their last 20 away league games, and that came at bottom side Huesca.

However, Madrid are the second top away scorers in La Liga with 30 goals in 16 matches and have netted in nine consecutive matches away from the Bernabeu.

Tips and predictions

Both teams to score therefore looks like a logical selection and is priced at 7/10 (1.70). This bet has paid out in Real Madrid's last eight away games and looks like a strong option for Thursday night's local derby.
