Germany vs Netherlands Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

Germany and the Netherlands meet in Group C of Euro 2020 qualifying on Saturday morning at the Volksparkstadion.

These two rivals played out a dramatic game in Amsterdam back in March with the visitors claiming a 3-2 win with an injury time goal. That result helped Joachim Low's men continue their perfect start to qualifying and put them in a strong position in the group.

The Dutch have played a game less than Germany in the group and two fewer than leaders Northern Ireland, but with two sides with 100 per cent records above them, Netherlands know they need to start picking up points.

Germany vs Netherlands Team News

Germany are without injured Premier League pair Leroy Sane and Antonio Rudiger. Dutch coach Ronald Koeman lost PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn to injury, calling up Justin Kluivert to replace him.

Germany vs Netherlands Preview

The rivalry between these two European rivals goes back decades, and this fixture is generally a great spectacle for fans and neutrals alike. Friday night's game is their fourth meeting in 11 months and the previous three games have provided terrific entertainment along with 12 goals. Neither side boast a particularly impressive defensive record with clean sheets few and far between - Germany have kept four shutouts in their last 18 games, Netherlands just three in their last 12. Another high scoring game could well be on the cards, with goals at both ends seemingly a nailed on selection.

Tips and predictions

Both teams to score is priced at 1.53 while over 2.5 goals can be backed at 1.61. If we combine those selections however the odds rise to a healthy looking 1.83 which is a selection that should prove profitable with another high-scoring game.
