Fulham rule Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa out of Chelsea trip

Fulham manager Claudio Ranieri has confirmed that Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa will miss the west London derby against Chelsea on Sunday.

Anguissa suffered a knock in training after his last appearance against Liverpool on November 14.

The 23-year-old subsequently missed the Cottagers' 3-2 win over Southampton last Saturday – their first Premier League win of the season.

Ranieri, ahead of his second game in charge of the Craven Cottage outfit, disclosed that the Cameroon international has resumed training with the rest of the squad on Friday but will be unavailable for their visit to Stamford Bridge.

"Frank trained with us today, but won't be available. McDonald continues to train and is slowly getting better, but also won't be available," Ranieri said.

Anguissa joined Fulham on a five-year deal from Marseille in August and has made league 10 appearances for the bottom-placed team who have managed just one win so far this term.

Following their win over the Saints last weekend, Fulham will hope to compound Chelsea’s woes who conceded their first league defeat of the season against Tottenham Hotspur in another derby last Saturday.
