The Qatar national team has officially named Felix Sanchez as their head coach, replacing Uruguayan Jorge Fossati.
The Spaniard becomes the team's third coach in less than a year.
The Qatar Football Association confirmed that Sanchez was "formally appointed" on Monday.
Sanchez has been coaching Qatar's U-23 side. The team narrowly missed out on qualification for last year's Olympic games.

He will now take over the senior team as Qatar prepare for their remaining 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Syria and China.
Fossati resigned abruptly last month despite securing an impressive 3-2 win over South Korea which keeps the World Cup 2022 hosts in with a slim chance of qualifying for next year's tournament in Russia.
It is so far unclear whether Sanchez's appointment is for the long-term.
