Everton vs Leicester City Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

Leicester City are looking to get their Champions League push back on track when they travel to Everton on Wednesday night.

The Foxes had been sitting pretty in third place prior to the suspension of the season, but two draws since the resumption has seen other sides shorten the gap.

They face an Everton outfit with European aspirations of their own, thanks to an impressive run of form at home which has seen them take 16 points from their last eight matches at Goodison Park.

Everton vs Leicester City Latest Odds

The Toffees have not gone nine consecutive matches unbeaten at home since 2013 when they went an incredible 17 without defeat, and are 31/20 (2.55) with bet365 to do it in style with victory over Brendan Rodgers’ men.

These sides drew 2-2 here in last season’s Carabao Cup and another stalemate can be backed at 23/10 (3.30).

Jamie Vardy scored the only goal when Leicester won at Goodison Park in January 2019 but are out at 15/8 (2.87) to take a morale-boosting three points back to Leicester.

Everton vs Leicester City Team News

James Maddison is likely to miss out again after injury ruled him out of Leicester’s FA Cup loss to Chelsea at the weekend, whilst Ricardo Pereira and Daniel Amartey are also unavailable.

Yerry Mina and Fabian Delph are both in contention for Carlo Ancelotti’s side but the Italian will still have to make do without Theo Walcott and Djibril Sidibe.

Everton vs Leicester City Preview

The two halves to Leicester’s season could not be more chalk and cheese, with the Foxes comfortably sitting second after 20 games thanks to a tally of 42 points.

However, Rodgers’ side have picked up only 13 points since then and adding to that tally on Merseyside will be a tough ask against an Everton side in good spirits.

Since the resumption of the season, the Toffees were the width of the post away from a deserved win over Liverpool before seeing off Norwich 1-0 last week in two tightly-contested games.

Everton vs Leicester City Tips and Predictions

The four games involving these teams following the restart have seen just three goals, all of which have come after half-time, and the 11/10 (2.10) quote from bet365 on the second half to have the most goals looks excellent value for this clash.
