UEFA Europa League final: The key men - Alexandre Lacazette

Arsenal outplayed Valencia in the Europa League semi-finals to reach the final of the continental showdown. Now a familiar foe in Chelsea stand in their way as they seek to win an elusive European trophy.

If Alexandre Lacazette is on song in Baku on Thursday, then Chelsea's defence could have a nightmarish outing. The French striker has been on fire in front of goal and has scored five goals in nine appearances in the UEFA Europa League so far.

His partnership with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has blossomed with each passing game and David Luiz and co. will have to put their best foot forward to contain the dynamic duo.

The former Lyon forward scored his first on the continental stage this season against Qarabag at the Emirates. He took on two defenders and yet managed to rifle a shot at goal from an acute goal which flew past the keeper.

Lacazette then scored a peach of a freekick against Napoli from 30 yards out. Keeper Alex Meret remained rooted to his spot as he could only watch the ball swerve away from his reach and nestle in the top corner.

He was in imperial form in the semi-final against Valencia as he scored thrice in the two legs. In the first leg, Arsenal romped to a 3-1 victory against the Spanish side courtesy of a brace from Lacazette.

In the return leg he outclassed Cristiano Piccini with a neat turn to score Arsenal's second on that night.

Relive all the goals and assists of Lacazette in the Europa League.
