Euro 2020 Odds: Free-scoring England 5/1 to be crowned European champions

Having racked up 10 goals in their opening two Euro 2020 qualification matches, England are 5/1 (from 7/1) to win next summer's European Championships with bet365.

The online firm are now offering 3/1 (4.0) that Gareth Southgate's side win all of their Group A games and 1/3 (1.33) about the Three Lions remaining unbeaten.

bet365’s Steve Freeth said: “England qualified for Euro 2016 with a perfect record and confidence of a repeat seems high after 10 goals in their opening two games. The finals are a long way off but punters seem to think that this England side can improve on their recent World Cup exploits.”

Despite going 1-0 down to Montenegro in Podgorica, the visitors surged back to win 5-1 in a game overshadowed by racist abuse from the home supporters.

With back-to-back wins, a young, dynamic squad to call upon as well as a place in the Uefa Nations League finals secured, there appear plenty of reasons to expect another deep run from England on the international stage in 2020.

A rotated side saw Callum Hudson-Odoi and Declan Rice make their full debuts and the free-flowing nature of the win was impressive, especially in such difficult conditions.

Raheem Sterling capped off a five-star display which saw Ross Barkley score twice as well as Michael Keane and Harry Kane get on the scoreboard. Kane notched his 22nd international goal and now has 17 in his previous 20 appearances for the Three Lions.

Elsewhere, reigning world champions France head the betting at 10/3 (4.33). Having been beaten by Portugal in the 2016 finale, Didier Deschamps' men are understandably made market principles to claim back-to-back international crowns.

Euro 2020 Winner Odds - England cut to 5/1

Spain are available at 11/2 (6.50) ahead of Germany and Belgium, who are both priced at 7/1 (8.0). Joachim Low's men scored a last-gasp winner over the Netherlands in their opening qualification clash and Ronald Koeman's men are 12/1 (13.0) chances to go all the way.

While they may feel hard done by after that result, the Dutch can secure their spot in the finals courtesy of the Nations League where they'll face England at the semi-final stage in June.

Italy are 14/1 (15.0) to replicate their 1968 victory ahead of holders Portugal (20/1) and losing World Cup finalists Croatia, who are a 25/1 (26.0) chance with bet365.
