Chelsea v Manchester United Betting Special: Hazard to shine as Blues look to close gap on rivals

Chelsea old boy Romelu Lukaku will be aiming to come back to haunt his former club when Manchester United visit Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Having been allowed just 10 Premier League starts in a three-year spell in West London disrupted by loan moves, the Belgium international is now one of the division’s most feared strikers and has hit seven goals in 10 fixtures for Jose Mourinho’s side this campaign.

Although without a goal in six appearances, the 24-year-old is his team’s 15/4 (4.75) favourite with dabblebet to open the scoring at his old stomping ground, and 5/4 (2.25) to strike anytime.

Responsible for the winner in last weekend’s victory over Tottenham Hotspur, Anthony Martial is on offer at 12/5 (3.40) to grab the headlines against more London opposition in this one.

On target in a 2-0 win the last time these sides met back in April, Marcus Rashford is also priced at those same 12/5 (3.40) odds to get on the scoresheet once again here.

At the other end of the pitch, Alvaro Morata will be looking to bring an end to a six-match barren spell of his own, having failed to score since netting in the 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid at the end of September.

Despite that run, the former Real Madrid man has still managed six goals in eight Premier League starts, and can be backed at 7/2 (4.50) to break the deadlock or 11/10 (2.10) to score anytime.

Morata’s struggles have led many to request Michy Batshuayi be given more of a chance, since he has scored seven goals in just five starts this campaign, and he is on offer at 6/4 (2.50) to enhance that record further in this one.

However, with five goals to his name in the last six matches for club and country, Eden Hazard looks like the best value bet at 2/1 (3.00) to find the net; indeed, the Belgian playmaker has hit the net in four previous games against United, and certainly looks worth those 2/1 (3.00) odds considering his strong recent form.
