Chelsea got back to winning ways in the Premier League by beating Fulham on Sunday and now face an away trip against Wolves, before tackling Manchester City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Maurizio Sarri is facing his busiest run in the league and is locked in a battle for a top-four place, with his side remaining outsiders to win the Premier League title due to City's seven-point advantage over them.

Nuno Espírito Santo will want to see his Wolves side stop their slide down the table at Molineux after picking up just one point from their last six games.

Chelsea Injuries

Chelsea brought back Eden Hazard against Fulham after he sat out some training sessions and the Europa League match against PAOK last week. He has recovered from his ankle injury and Ross Barkley is also expected to return from a knock he sustained last Thursday.

Victor Moses is also a doubt with a back problem, but Chelsea will likely see Mateo Kovacic return from tiredness after he was brought off for Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the 2-0 win over Fulham.

Marcos Alonso also picked up an ankle problem against Fulham and he was substituted for Davide Zappacosta in the second half. However, Sarri thinks that he will still be in contention to face Wolves and he will check his condition ahead of the game.

"I want to speak to him. But he didn't play very well," Sarri told a news conference ahead of the game. "I know very well this, but I think Alonso knows very well this, also. It can happen.

"Today we will see the reaction, we will see the situation with the back. For the doctor, his back is better.”

Chelsea Suspensions

Chelsea don't have any players out through suspension ahead of Wednesday's clash, while there are no players in danger of bans should they pick up yellow cards. N'Golo Kante, Alvaro Morata and Antonio Rudiger have the most bookings this season for the Blues, with three apiece.

However, Wolves are without their influential midfielder Ruben Neves, who is suspended for collecting his fifth yellow card in the 2-1 defeat to Cardiff City on Friday night.

Chelsea Potential Starting Line-Up

Chelsea have been fairly consistent in their team selections in the Premier League season but that might change against Wolves.

Sarri may look to rotate some players as he faces 12 games in 40 days during English football's busy winter schedule. Chelsea's next opponents after this match - Man City - will pose a concern as the most powerful team in the division so changes could be made against Wolves.

Alvaro Morata and Willian sat out the last game against Fulham and could come back in to face Wolves. Loftus-Cheek has put in two strong back-to-back performances and he has five goals in his last six Chelsea appearances, which may lead to him getting a chance in midfield.

Wolves Team News

As well as Neves' absence through suspension, Wolves will be without their wing-back Jonny, who picked up a knee injury while on international duty with Spain.

TV channel & kick-off time

The match at Molineux kicks off at 7:45pm GMT (2:45pm ET) on Wednesday and it will not be shown on TV in the UK.
