Champions League Betting: Premier League trio favourites to progress after quarter-final draw

The Champions League quarter-final draw has been made and the remaining eight teams all know who they will be facing for a place in the final four.

Manchester City, 9/4 (3.25) favourites with bet365 to win the competition, will face Borussia Dortmund and the online bookmaker go just 8/15 (1.53) that they win the first leg at the Etihad Stadium.

In fact, Pep Guardiola’s men can be backed at just 1/5 (1.20) to qualify for the semi-finals against their German opponents who have been struggling of late.

Dortmund are currently fifth in the Bundesliga and are out at 5/1 (6.0) to stun the Premier League champions-elect, and 10/3 (4.33) to reach the next round.

Two of the last three Champions League finals will be repeated in the quarter-finals as Liverpool play Real Madrid, like they did in the 2017-18 showpiece, and Bayern Munich clash with Paris Saint-Germain after doing so in last season’s edition.

There is little to choose between the Reds and their Spanish counterparts, with the first leg taking place at Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium and bet365 offer Real at 6/4 (2.50) to take the lead back to Anfield.

Zinedine Zidane’s side have won the competition four times in the last seven seasons but are actually slight outsiders to qualify at 19/20 (1.95), whilst Liverpool are available at 4/5 (1.80).

Reigning champions Bayern Munich are 7/2 (4.50) to retain the Champions League and just 8/15 (1.53) to beat PSG over two legs, having edged them 1-0 in the final last August.

The French champions recorded a stunning 4-1 win at Barcelona in the last 16 but are out at 16/5 (4.20) to win the first leg, and 11/8 (2.38) to qualify.

Finally, Chelsea have been installed at 4/11 (1.36) to see off Porto in the quarter-finals and as Evens (2.0) favourites to win the first leg in Portugal.

Thomas Tuchel’s side beat Atletico Madrid 3-0 in the last round and, although their opponents came through a last-16 tie against Juventus, bet365 offer 2/1 (3.0) on Sergio Conceicao’s side upsetting the book again to reach the final four.
