Bulgaria vs England Betting Tips: Sterling set for Sofia joy

Raheem Sterling England 2019
The Manchester City winger has been in fine form for his country recently and our tipster is backing him to add to his six Euro 2020 qualifying goals

England will be determined to bounce back from their 2-1 loss in the Czech Republic when they travel to Bulgaria on Monday night.

Harry Kane scored the Three Lions’ goal in that loss – the country’s first in major tournament qualifying since 2009 – and is just 8/13 (1.62) with bet365 to strike for the 28th time in England colours.

After making his competitive debut off the bench in Prague, Tammy Abraham will hope to feature more on Monday and can be backed at 5/6 (1.83) to make his mark in Sofia.

Callum Wilson will also be pushing for a start after missing the loss in the Czech Republic through illness and is Evens (2.0) to score his second international goal.

With six goals in qualifying so far, Raheem Sterling could offer good value at 11/10 (2.10) to score his 11th England goal after winning the penalty that Kane converted last week in Prague.

Marcus Rashford offered little in the 17 minutes he played against the Czech Republic and is unlikely to garner too much support at 5/4 (2.25) to score on Monday, whilst the man he replaced – Jadon Sancho – is 15/8 (2.87) .

Despite impressing for Chelsea this season to earn his call-up, Mason Mount struggled to make an impact on his first international start and should be overlooked at 15/8 (2.87) to score his first England goal.

Gareth Southgate is sure to make changes to the side that lost in Prague and there could be a chance for Ross Barkley to re-take his place in the starting eleven, with bet365 offering 12/5 (3.40) that he scores his fifth England goal.

Ivelin Popov represents Bulgaria’s best hopes at 15/4 (4.75) to score his second goal in Euro 2020 qualifying and 18th in total for his country.

On-loan Gil Vicente winger Bozhidar Kraev scored twice in the Nations League last autumn and can be backed at 5/1 (6.0) to increase his international tally on Monday.

Ismail Issa scored against the Czech Republic on his competitive debut in July and is 11/2 (6.50) to net here, the same price as teammate Kiril Despodov.
