Bournemouth vs Tottenham Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

Tottenham will be looking to secure their place in the Premier League top four when they travel to the Vitality Stadium to take on Bournemouth on Saturday.

Mauricio Pochettino's team faces a difficult task to make it through to the Champions League final after losing 1-0 at home to Ajax in Tuesday's semi-final first leg, but are in a strong position to qualify for next season's competition.

Having lost six of the seven previous Premier League encounters between the sides, the Cherries are 14/5 (3.80) outsiders to pull off a shock win here.

The guests have drawn just one of their 36 league matches so far this campaign, but you can get odds of 13/5 (3.60) on them being forced to settle for a single point in this one.

Team news

Simon Francis, Adam Smith, Charlie Daniels, Andrew Surman, Lewis Cook, Diego Rico and Junior Stanislas are all unavailable due to injury, while Dan Gosling will need to be assessed after suffering a calf strain in last weekend's 3-3 draw with Southampton.

Jan Vertonghen is unlikely to feature after going off with a head injury against Ajax, with Serge Aurier, Erik Lamela, Harry Winks, and Harry Kane all also ruled out.

Sluggish Spurs

Although still in a strong position to secure a place in the top four, Spurs seem to be limping over the finish line as a long season in both Europe and the league catches up with them.

Fatigue and the lack of Harry Kane up front have led to some rather lethargic recent performances, with Christian Eriksen's 88th-minute winner over Brighton their only goal in the last four matches.

It is therefore hard to see them racing out the blocks against Eddie Howe's men, who have only struck two first-half goals in the last seven home games themselves.

Predictions

All things considered, odds of 20/21 (1.95) look well worth backing on the action not unfolding until after the break for the Tottenham's sixth league game in eight on the road, as well as Bournemouth's sixth home game in eight.
