Emomo Ngoyi’s first half double and second half strikes by Jean-Marc Makusu and Mukoko Batezadio saw AS Vita emphatically beat Al-Masry in the semifinal, second leg tie to claim a berth in the final.
With the reverse fixture ending goalless in Port Said three weeks earlier, AS Vita turned on the style to impressively crush their opponents before a fullhouse inside Stade des Martyrs.
Next month’s final would be Vita’s second continental final inside four seasons after finishing as the 2014 Caf Champions League runners-up.
Ngoyi sounded AS Vita’s intentions as early as six minutes into the match when he headed in Ducapel Moloko's corner kick to hand the hosts the lead.
But that appeared to have poked Al-Masry’s resolve for an away goal and comeback.

Vita’s Cameroonian goalkeeper Nelson Lukong was then forced into a spectacular save by Ahmed Gomaa’s powerful header off a freekick by Islam Issa on 16 minutes.
A minute later, the Egyptians thought they had equalised after Burkinabe defender Mohamed Koffi beat Lukong, but referee Bernard Camille ruled that the goalkeeper had been infringed upon.
Al-Masry kept on probing and Ahmed Shokri crossed a little bit high for Mohamed Grendo who had surged ahead of Vita defenders and well primed to connect with his head.
But Vita also attempted to double their advantage with a bursting Moloko being thwarted by Al-Masry goalkeeper Ahmed Massoud.
The hosts' effort to cushion their lead before the break paid off when Ngoyi unleashed a thunderbolt from the edge of the box to beat Maasoud after being set up by Fabrice Ngoma.
At the other end, Al-Masry tried to beat the halftime whistle and reduce the margin but Lukong was alert to brilliantly save a freekick by Grendo.
After the restart, tensions from the visitors’ bench led by Egypt legend Hossan Hassan flared high with spirited remonstrations against Camille.
That could not distract the referee as Al-Masry kept on searching for a goal and Lukong was again forced to save Grendo’s low effort.
Vita also seemed unsatisfied with the 2-0 lead with Emmanuel Ngudikama and Ngoyi shooting just over the bar in separate attempts at goal.
But a seemingly offside Makusu killed the match as a contest 15 minutes from time with the third goal by rounding Massoud, following a slick feed from Ngoma.
That again sparked protests from the Al-Masry bench and their players seemed to be distracted by the boiling tensions, sapping away hopes of a comeback.
When substitute Batezadio poked in Vita’s fourth in stoppage time, both sides were already playing like the contest was a dead rubber.
AS Vita will meet the winner between Raja Casablanca and Enyimba who were set to clash later on in another semifinal showdown.
