VIDEO: Douglas Luiz mobbed while watching Alisha Lehmann & Juventus Women face Lionesses star Mary Earps & PSG in Champions League action

The Brazil international moved to Turin in the summer of 2024 alongside Swiss girlfriend Lehmann. They are now both plying their trade for Italian heavyweights after severing ties with Aston Villa in the Premier League and WSL respectively.

Lehmann has made a positive start to her spell at Juve, with her goal account being opened, and will be looking to chase down domestic and continental honours in 2024-25. She was an unused substitute as an impressive 3-1 victory was secured in the first leg of a Champions League qualifying clash with Paris Saint-Germain.

Luiz took up a seat in the stands for that contest, and proved to be quite the draw for Juve followers in attendance. Fans clamoured for pictures with and autographs from the South American midfielder – who stepped off the bench for the club’s men’s team as they also opened their European campaign with a 3-1 win on Tuesday, over Dutch side PSV.

While Lehmann did not get onto the pitch, leaving Luiz disappointed in the crowd, Juve did put down an notable marker when rattling three goals past England international goalkeeper Earps. The return leg of their Round 2 clash with PSG is set to take place on September 26.
