  • WHAT HAPPENED?

The Bianconeri are the only side in Serie A yet to suffer a loss this season, with 15 games being navigated so far. They are, however, sat sixth in the Italian top-flight table – seven points adrift of leaders Atalanta, who have already come unstuck on three occasions.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Draws are proving costly for Juve, with nine stalemates taken in. The most recent of those saw Thiago Motta’s side battle back from two goals down to claim a share of the spoils against Bologna – with Weah featuring in that contest while countryman McKennie recovers from injury.

  • WHAT DEL PIERO SAID

The United States internationals should be feeling buoyant, as Juve prove hard to beat, but Del Piero has told CBS Golazo of why there is cause for concern in Turin: “Tonight, they didn’t definitely miss the killer touch, they had a great comeback. They were losing 2-0 at home, so it’s a great comeback, even if there was a last-minute goal.

“But they’re in trouble, definitely, because they don’t have all the players. Another injury today, a bad injury for them, [Andrea] Cambiaso is a great player for Juventus. And to be honest, they’re also in trouble because teams are getting comfortable to play against them, and they believe they can win a game against Juventus. They didn’t win, but coming out with a draw for Bologna is a great result here.”

    WHAT NEXT FOR JUVENTUS?

Juventus, whose only defeat this season came against Stuttgart in the Champions League, will be back in European action on Wednesday when playing host to Premier League title holders Manchester City – a team that have been enduring troubles of their own after picking up only one win in nine.
