Two more awards for Mohamed Salah! Liverpool star wins Premier League Golden Boot and Playmaker of the Season prizes after sensational campaign with Arne Slot's champions

Salah topped the league's goal and assist charts, netting 29 times - including a late equaliser against Crystal Palace on the final day of the season - and setting up a further 18. The Egypt international's form saw him tipped to win this season's Ballon d'Or, but he will settle for the Golden Boot instead of a golden ball for now.

At one point, it appeared this season would be Salah's last at Anfield. The 32-year-old hinted he was on his way out this summer as his contract neared its end, though he and defender Virgil van Dijk eventually signed contract extensions that keep them tied to the Reds until 2027, while Trent Alexander-Arnold is leaving to join Real Madrid in a free transfer.

Salah has already been confirmed as the Premier League's Player of the Season, making him the fifth player to win the award twice after Kevin De Bruyne, Nemanja Vidic, Cristiano Ronaldo and Thierry Henry.

With the Premier League season over and due to Liverpool's absence from the Club World Cup, Salah will enjoy a summer break before the squad regroups to begin preparing for the 2025-26 campaign.
