Real Madrid told 'there's a 99 percent chance' Kylian Mbappe completes summer transfer as La Liga president Javier Tebas claims Los Blancos won't have to sell anyone to make room for PSG superstar

Mbappe has reportedly already signed his contract ahead of his long-mooted potential move to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer. And Tebas has now seemingly confirmed as much, as he believes there is a "99 percent chance" the Paris Saint-Germain star finally makes the switch to the Spanish capital, and does not expect Real to have to sell players to fund the deal.

Tebas told L'Equipe: "Knowing that he's leaving PSG, there's a 99% chance that Mbappe signs for Real Madrid. But I don't know if he's already signed. It's great news for Real Madrid and for Spanish football. [Mbappe] is one of the best players in the world. In my view,[Jude] Bellingham,[Erling] Haalandand Mbappe are the three most dominant players on the planet, and two of them are at Real Madrid."

The La Liga chief added: "At the moment, their financial results are very good and they can spend a lot more than they do. Madrid have been very prudent financially, they've prepared for the signing of Mbappe... They don't have to sell anyone to allow themselves to sign Mbappe."

Mbappe remains a key member of the PSG squad and has made 31 appearances in all competitions, scoring 32 goals and registering seven assists. The club are currently 13 points clear at the top of Ligue 1 and also won the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie against Real Sociedad.

PSG play Rennes on Sunday as they bid to extend their lead at the top of the table, with Mbappe in line to feature despite the ongoing links to Spain's capital club. Real, by comparison, play Sevilla on the same day in La Liga.
